Sailing Lessons

Are you interested in learning to sail? Are you looking to purchase a boat but are unsure if you want a powerboat or sailboat? Do you want to find out if sailing is for you? Enchanted Charters offers an Introduction to Sailing class.

What will you learn? Our experienced captain(s) will take you out into the Atlantic Ocean for a half day of sailing. Here you will learn the basics of sailing: hoisting, trimming and easing of the sails, the basic points of sail, simple commands, helmsman (steering the boat), and basic safety. After this class you should have a good idea if sailing is for you!

A four person limit is recommended, but if you are a single family of five or six we will make an exception.

We ask that you be at the dock 30 minutes prior to departure to review safety procedures.

All sailing lessons leave the dock at 1pm.

Rates & Times:

*All charters have a 6-passenger limit, ages 5 and up. Ages 12 and under are required to wear a Coast Guard approved personal floatation device (life vest), which we supply, while outside of the cockpit.
